Corrections Policy
Accuracy matters, especially when content can influence food choices. Readers can report an error through our contact page. Please include the page URL, the statement in question, and a source when possible.
What happens after a report
- We preserve the original report and check the cited statement against the strongest available source.
- We correct confirmed factual errors promptly across affected text, tables, metadata, and structured data.
- Material corrections receive a new modified date and a plain-language correction note on the page. Minor spelling or formatting fixes do not.
- If the evidence is uncertain, we revise the wording to show that uncertainty rather than choose a more confident claim.
Restaurant changes
A changed restaurant menu is treated as an update, not an error in the earlier time-stamped guide. We update the last-verification date only after rechecking a first-party source.
Independence
Requests from advertisers, app-store partners, or restaurant brands do not determine whether a factual correction is made.
Effective September 4, 2026.
